Edit URGENT: STOP GANG OF 8 ALL IMMIGRATION BILLS NOW

I wanted to take some time to address this article, to give it some serious thought and to shout to shout the warning for America not just as a citizen but as a watchman.  The gang of 8 immigration bill must not pass nor any form of it!  We must stop all forms of this bill!  It is up to us to call JAM the phone lines daily to our Congressman and Senators to vote this down.

What is the gang of 8 Immigration bill?  It is an open borders bill a full- fledged amnesty bill.  This bill was to be a bi-partisan bill promising bipartisan solution to immigration reform, opponents have accused the bill of granting amnesty to illegal immigrants (which I am one and agree it will. Congressman Lamar Smith (R-Texas) has denounced the bill, saying that this amnesty “actually compounds the problem by encouraging more illegal immigration.” There are so many twists and turns to this bill and the devil is so sly in his works to get this passed. The U.S. Senate voted 82-15 on a motion to begin formal debate on the so-called Gang of Eight immigration bill that would affect 11 million unauthorized immigrants and U.S. employers.  In reference to the millions of immigrants currently in the country illegally, President Obama said, “Yes, they broke the rules; they didn’t wait their turn. They shouldn’t be let off easy. They shouldn’t be allowed to game the system.”  It is obvious this bill is flawed.   According to Michelle Bachmann, Gohmert, and Steve King, John Boehner  has  made a deal with Reid, Pelosi and Obama to get this bill passed.   John Boehner is threatening 70 who are standing up against this monstrosity of a bill.   These 70 (while the names have not been released as of yet) are true heroes.  One of these taking the lead is Ted Cruz from Texas.

Press Release of Senator Cruz

Gang of Eight Bill Does Not Uphold Promises to Secure Border, Enforce the Law, or Improve Legal Immigration

WASHINGTON, DC -- U.S. Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX), Jeff Sessions (R-AL), Mike Lee (R-UT) and Chuck Grassley (R-IA), all members of the Senate Judiciary Committee, today sent a letter to their Senate colleagues highlighting ongoing concerns with S. 744, the Senate immigration reform bill. They noted the numerous opportunities the Senate Judiciary Committee had to improve the bill during the markup process, yet failed to enact. They also specifically criticized the back-door deal that was struck by Gang of Eight members and Democrats on the Judiciary committee prior to the markup, which prevented any meaningful improvements to the legislation. “Americans expect their government to end the lawlessness, not surrender to it. They deserve immigration reform with actual border security, enforcement of the laws on the books, and a legal immigration system that works,” the senators wrote. “We must welcome and celebrate legal immigrants, but S. 744 fails to deliver anything more than the same empty promises Washington has been making for 30 years.” “The last thing this country needs right now is another 1,000-plus page bill that, like Obamacare, was negotiated behind closed doors with special interests. We want immigration reform to pass, but only if it actually fixes the broken system, rather than allowing the problems to grow and fester.”

In the letter, the senators highlight rejected amendments that would have drastically improved the bill as well as amendments that were accepted that make the bill even worse. They point to several areas of concern in the current bill that must be addressed on the Senate floor in order to pass effective legislation, including:
  • Provides immediate legalization without securing the border
  • Rewards criminal aliens, absconders, and deportees and undermines law enforcement
  • Contains extremely dangerous national security loopholes
  • Facilitates fraud in our immigration system
  • Creates no real penalties for illegal immigrants and rewards them with entitlements
  • Delays for years the implementation of E-Verify
  • Does not fix our legal immigration system
  • Advanced through a process predicated on a deal struck before markup
  • Rewards those who have broken our laws by offering a special path to citizenship

The conservative think tank the Heritage Foundation is out with a report predicting sky-high costs – to the tune of $6.3 trillion – associated with the legalization of about 11 million undocumented immigrants if the “Gang of Eight” bill becomes law.   That is money we cannot afford.  Our country is broke.  Just yesterday it was release that that it will be $590,000 per immigrant.

Before leaving the Senate judiciary Committee, 301 amendments were added to the Gang of Eight bill.
There is a new commercial claiming to be conservatives who support this bill.  This commercial was created by  Mark Zukerberg.  In this commercial, Senator Marco Rubio is pitching the ‘Gang of 8′ immigration bill, by an organization calling itself Americans for a Conservative Direction. As Politico reports, the ad and its new group are funded by the FWD.us, the organization formed to push Silicon Valley’s priorities in Washington, backed by Mark Zuckerberg

Americans for a Conservative Direction‘s board members include:

Haley Barbour: former Governor Haley Barbour served as the 62nd governor of Mississippi from 2004 to 2012 and served as Chairman of the Republican National Committee in the mid ’90s.
Sally Bradshaw: former Florida Governor Jeb Bush’s Chief of Staff from 1999-2001, and served as a Co-Chair of the Republican National Committee’s Growth and Opportunity Project.
Joel Kaplan: currently Vice President of US Public Policy at Facebook. Joel also served as Deputy Chief of Staff to former President George W. Bush.
Dan Senor: former chief advisor to Representative Paul Ryan on the Romney-Ryan 2012 campaign
Rob Jesmer: former Executive Director at the National Republican Senatorial Committee from 2008 – 2012.
Even Jeb Bush is behind this.
The ad also contains a serious, misleading error. As Senator Rubio makes his pitch, wording underneath him reads “Establish Border Security First”:

Border security first’? That’s precisely conservatives’ main gripe with the Gang of 8 bill — it does not establish border security, much less ‘first.’ In fact, as I’ve written, the only ‘trigger’ necessary for the legalization to proceed is that a border strategy and border fencing plan has been submitted to Congress and ‘commenced.’ Further down the line, there is no real ‘border security’ before the green card/permanent residency process may proceed: regarding the border, all that is required is that the two plans are “substantially” implemented and operational.

According to the Daily Caller, over 150 conservative leaders, groups and grassroots activists have signed an open letter opposing the Senate immigration reform bill.

This letter is as follows:

“We write to express our serious concerns regarding the Gang of Eight’s immigration bill, S. 744. We oppose this bill and urge you to vote against it when it comes to the Senate floor,” the letter to be released Tuesday and obtained by The Daily Caller reads. ”No matter how well intentioned, the Schumer-Rubio bill suffers from fundamental design flaws that make it unsalvageable. Many of us support various parts of the legislation, but the overall package is so unsatisfactory that the Senate would do better to start over from scratch.”

Signed by conservatives leaders and group representatives including radio host Laura Ingraham, Fox News personality Monica Crowley, Red State’s Erick Erickson, radio host Mark Levin, Hoover Institution’s Victor Davis Hanson, and The Daily Caller’s Mickey Kaus, the letter highlights a number of issues the signers have with the legislation including their concerns that the bill:
  • Is bloated and unwieldy along the lines of Obamacare or Dodd-Frank;
  • Cedes excessive control over immigration law to an administration that has repeatedly proven itself to be untrustworthy, even duplicitous;
  • Legalizes millions of illegal immigrants before securing the borders, thus ensuring future illegal immigration;
  • Rewards law breakers and punishes law enforcement, undermining the rule of law;
  • Hurts American job-seekers, especially those with less education;
  • Threatens to bankrupt our already strained entitlement system;
  • Expands government by creating new bureaucracies, authorizing new spending, and
  • calling for endless regulations;
  • Contains dangerous loopholes that threaten national security;
  • Is shot through with earmarks for politically connected interest groups;
  • Overwhelms our immigration bureaucracy, guaranteeing widespread fraud.
The letter also argues that while immigration reform is important, the Senate’s immigration reform bill will only make matters worse.

“Reforming our immigration system is an important priority. But S.744 is such a defective measure that it would do more harm than good. We urge you to vote against it and against any cloture vote to bring up the bill. Only then can a constructive, measured debate take place on how to improve America’s immigration policy,” the letter reads.
According to Ingraham, one of the letter’s signers, “The Republicans who parrot the mindless ‘we must do something’ mantra might wish to review how the Democrats responded to Obamacare criticism in 2010. I recall the liberal cries of ‘We must do something…the health care system is broken….’” Ingraham continued in her email to TheDC. “What is broken is our system of government whereby the elites in both parties consistently ignore the will of the people on an issue as important as border enforcement.  This bill will make life more difficult for middle class Americans and legal immigrants who are already struggling to find decent-paying jobs that cover the bills. And to her I give an Amen!! About time we have a few Patriots willing to take a stand!

Glenn Beck is another hero on the front line getting the word out on the 70 who are willing to risk it all their careers to stop this bill.

Soros is funding the the ad campaign for the group claiming to represent 170 Evangelical leaders in support of S. 744. No, most of those leaders likely did not intend to support any specific piece of legislation when they signed a general statement of biblical principles on immigration.

The National Immigration Forum (NIF), the force behind the so-called “Evangelical Immigration Table” (EIT), is actually a front group for players on the institutional left including billionaire George Soros and the Ford Foundation, according to reporting by Breitbart News and other outlets.
Republican House members leading a fight against Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) said a “Trojan horse” bill is in the works to trick the GOP into voting for amnesty for illegal immigrants.

Reps. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.), Steve King (R-Iowa) and Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) told Glenn Beck on his TV program Thursday that the Senate’s pending immigration reform bill will mean amnesty — and that a deceptively “good” bill in the House will get it pushed through. “We have the really bad bill in the Senate and what’s going to happen, Glenn, is that a Trojan horse — a bill that’s going to really look good and really sound good and it’s going to talk about border security — a bill that we like will get voted on and passed,” Bachmann said. Both bills will go to a conference committee to be reconciled, where “they’ll take the good guts out of the good bill, they’ll put the bad guts in the good bill, the Senate will pass it, it’ll come over to the House, and then [House Minority Leader] Nancy Pelosi and all the Democrats will vote for the amnesty bill, probably the committee chairs will vote for it, and we’ll have amnesty,” Bachmann said.

This is how evil and deceptive these people are.  Those in power want open borders for the North American Union.  The one world government is closer than we realize.  The question is, are you willing to take a stand and be one of the few to be counted to stand for the Republic?  Are you willing to make the call every day to your Congressman and Senator and tell them not to support this evil bill?  The more they hear that the constituent are not for this and are not going to stand for this.  June 19 the Tea Party will help to stand against it at our Capitol. Get involved!
